You Can Always Make More Money—But Not More Time
Remember What Really Matters
This past week, my grandmother passed away.
She lived a full life, a life that impacted so many of us in ways that numbers and metrics could never measure. As I had the opportunity to speak at her funeral, I found myself reflecting not on the things I’ve built, but on the people I’ve built them for.
Not once did I think about how many YouTube subscribers I had. Not a single thought was given to how many people listened to my podcast or how many followers I’ve gained. All I could think about was my wife. My daughters. The time I’ve spent with them, and if it’s truly been enough.
It was a sobering, beautiful reminder: our legacy is not measured in likes, clicks, or conversions. It’s measured in laughter around the dinner table, memories made on trips, and the kind of presence that can’t be captured in a screenshot.
If you’re grinding right now, pushing for growth, chasing that next goal, I see you. I’m right there with you. But take it from someone who just said goodbye to someone irreplaceable: don’t let the pursuit of “more” rob you of the moments that matter most.
The best ROI in life? It’s time invested in the people you love.
What Real Wealth Looks Like
This week, I finished reading The 5 Types of Wealth by Sahil Bloom, and let me tell you, it couldn’t have come at a better time.
For so long, I associated the word “wealth” with money. Business revenue, savings, retirement accounts—don’t get me wrong, those are important. But what Sahil outlines so well in this book is that true wealth is multifaceted. Financial wealth is just one piece of the puzzle.
He breaks it down into five categories:
Financial Wealth – the money and assets we accumulate.
Time Wealth – the freedom to spend our time how we choose.
Physical Wealth – our health and ability to stay active and energized.
Mental Wealth – our peace, clarity, and emotional well-being.
Social Wealth – the quality of our relationships and community.
Reading this gave me language for something I’ve been feeling for a long time: success that costs your health, family, or peace of mind isn’t really success. It’s just expensive failure dressed up as achievement.
If you’re someone trying to live a more well-rounded life (especially as a creator or business owner), I’d highly recommend giving this book a read.
Creator’s Shortcut: Adobe’s Free Audio Enhancer
Let me put you onto a massive time-saver.
If you work with audio in any way—whether you host a podcast, record voiceovers, or even just create content with voice tracks—Adobe’s free AI audio enhancement tool is a total game changer.
You literally upload your raw MP3 file, and the tool:
Removes background noise,
Cleans up echo or fuzz,
Levels out volume inconsistencies,
And makes your audio sound like it was recorded in a professional studio.
Seriously. It feels like cheating.
I’ve been using it on podcast recordings, client calls, and even quick voice memos—and it’s saving me hours every single week. No more nitpicking EQ settings or Googling “how to fix reverb in Audition at 2 AM.”
The best part? It’s 100% free. Just drag, drop, and download.
